Nightly CRON jobs

Does anyone know what the nightly CRON jobs are actually doing?  Specifically unifier_cfn_sch(25,000+ job) and unifier_cfn_buildcfndata(6000+jobs).  In our system they start running at 2:45am and don't finish until 4:30am.  During this time other functions will run slow and impact our users overseas.
