Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Why are accounting entries created for Transfers when Asset Cost/Dep Reserve accounts cannot be spec

Location or expense transfers dont have any accounting impact.

Change of depreciation expense account only affects future depreciation expense accounts

While change of location has no impact as asset cost/dep reserve account cannot be specified for locations.

So what is the purpose?
