May I use puppet on ODAs to install NetBackup or connect them to our Active Directory ?

Hi gurus,

I'm somewhat unconfortable with our ODAs when it come to the actions I'm allowed to do or not regarding the operating system.

For me ODAs are kind of black box and it's not clear what I can do on them or not. Is there a documentation regarding the way one is supposed to manage them ?

We widely use puppet on "normal" servers, and I wonder if I'm allowed to install puppet on ODA nodes to install Veritas NetBackup or to connect them to our AD, but are there restrictions regarding the use of puppet on ODAs ?  or even on the connection to the Active Directory ?
