Solaris Cluster 4.3 on SPARC T8-2 servers with EMC Symmetrix array

Hi,

We have an environment consisting of SPARC T8-2 servers with EMC Symmetrix VMAX 100K and EMC SAN switches forming an FC SAN environment.

We will be installing Solaris Cluster in LDOMs as well as creating Zone Clusters and also configuring Shared QFS in LDOMs.

All the VMs will be running the latest version of Solaris 11.3 OS with FC and Ethernet virtual functions.

Can anyone please let me know the following:

1.    Should I use Solaris MPxIO or EMC powerpath in Control Domains/Root Domains/IO Domains/Guest Domains?

2.    Best practices for Solaris Cluster with EMC powerpath multipathing software in Solaris Cluster running in LDOMs and Zones.
