Oracle Property Manager: ASC 842 Compliance - Questions

We have applied Lease Accounting ASC 842 Compliance Patch 1 and 2 in our EBS 12.1.3  non-production environment. We have following questions:

1. Sometimes, we are getting PN_INVALID_RATE_INDEX error message while updating the lease. Do you know why? Didn’t find any reference to this error on MOS.

How is the Discount Index Rate supposed to work?

Why there are 2 effective dates and what do each of them mean?

Detailed guidance on setting up Discount Index Rate will be very useful.

Is there an API to update the Discount Index Rates?

2. What Sub Ledger Accounting Setups are required? How do we configure new ROU and Liability Accounts in OPM SLA?
