How to query and filter for Promotion Domains

Dear all,

We have a requirement to develop a WS which will return an Hierarchy of Add Ons which are available for particular Promotion.

Since the Relationships and Domain applets (Administration - Product -> Product Promotions -> Products -> Drilldown on Product in Components applet)

are based on VBC with no query allowed,

how to get the particular products available for particular Promotion ?

Should maybe the query be based on the Product Definition of the Promotion Component

(Administration - Product -> Product Definitions -> Drilldown on the Workspace in the versions applet ) ?
