How To Setup Partitioned Linux Block Devices Using UDEV (Non-ASMLIB) on Oracle VM OL7

in Storage Management (ASM ACFS DNFS ODM) (MOSC) Question

Hi My Oracle Firends.

  ENV :

     Oracle VM  3.4.4

     Oracle Virtual Michine  Oracle Linux 7U4

     Partitioned Linux Block Devices is Virtual Disk (not physical Disk).

  Issue:

     We planning On Oracle Virtual Michine Setup Partitioned Linux Block Devices Using UDEV (Non-ASMLIB) And Assign them to ASM.

     But We Can not Obtain virtual Disk UUID, can not finish UDEV setting.

 

    How can i do for this env to setup asm,thanks.

Disk /dev/xvdc: 268.4 GB, 268435456000 bytes, 524288000 sectors

Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes

Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes

I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes

Disk label type: dos

Disk identifier: 0xe5d11d79

    Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
