French Accounting Entries Audit File, Rel12.1.3 Document Sequence / Sequencing Best Practices

Our organization has operations in France across multiple Legal Entities. We already implemented the related patches for the French Accounting Entries Audit File solution,and did all the setups. It's Live in Production now.

After saving the setup surrounding the Document Sequencing, I noticed the system does not have a field for entering an ending sequence number like it did in Rel11.5. We used the new Rel12 Sequencing Setup navigation.

Responsibility: GL SuperUser

Navigation: Financials - Sequences - Accounting - Define

When I tried to create a NEW Sequence Name, and assign it to the start of the new Accounting Calendar, I received and error message: "The start date of this assigned sequence cannot be after this: 01-JAN-1951". My initial sequence name and setup looks like this:
