Does a partial payment update Last Applied Amount and Date Last Paid fields?
Client is upgrading from Xe to E1 9.1. We're experiencing some issues with the updates made by R03B16A A/R Statistical History Refresh. We have done some testing, and have concluded that, if the customer pays a full invoice, the R03B16A updates the Last Applied Amount and Date Last Paid fields on P03B218 - Account Status Summary. However, if the customer makes a partial payment toward an invoice (leaving an Open Amount on the invoice), these fields are not updated.
I have reviewed the JDE Documents, and have not seen anything that discusses the differences between payments that are full or partial. Does anyone know if the system is only supposed to update these fields in the case that a full payment is made?
