LUN Expand Feature for ASM Disks ?

We would like to use the LUN expand feature to expand ASM Disks. Like the same as ZFS does. After adding new space to the lun, its possible to expand the zpool.

Is the same possible for ASM diskgroups ? It should be because its added at the end and the db could relocate the ending sector or ? Is there any detailed Information about this ?
