Distributed Costing and Retro Elements

in Payroll and OTL - EBS (MOSC) Question

What is the expected costing where:

  • An employee receives retro earnings (R EARNING), with associated retro oncosts (R ONCOST) from the prior pay period (Period A), paid in the current pay period (Period
  • A retro oncost (R ONCOST) amount is distributed costed over the parent element (EARNING) of the retro earnings (R EARNING) paid in Period B.
  • There has been a costing change at the start of Period B.
  • The retro earnings (R EARNING) are costed via the element link to the current period (Period costing.

Should the distributed oncost costing pickup:

  1. the costing of the parent element (EARNING) of the retro earnings (
