401K Match
Our company is implementing a 401K match for the first time. I used Doc ID 637954.1 to set it up. However, our company is using a Safe Harbor match which includes 1% of the first three percent and 50% of the second three percent. I have set the DBAs up as follows:
- 3700: 401K Earnings
- 3800: 401K 1-3%
- 3801: 401K 4-6%
- 3805: 401K >6%
- 3820: 401K Match 1-3
- 3825 401K Match 4-6
I have enrolled the employees in the appropriate DBAs and have the 3820 and 3825 DBAs set up to calculate for all employees. The match is working correctly, but since employees are enrolled in the 3800, 3801, and 3805, their 401K deduction is coming out three times. So, for example, if I am enrolled in a 10% 401K contribution, I have a 10% in DBA instructions in Amt/Rt Level 1; but the system is actually taking 30% because of the three DBAs.
