Should we upgrade from IP15 to IP17 in order to apply Siebel 18.X?

Hi All,

Currently we are on IP15. We understood from some of the Oracle support articles that, Siebel 18.4 is an update to IP17.

However, the upgrade path is not clear for us.

Do we need to upgrade from IP15 to IP17 first, before we apply Siebel 18.4? Or is it allowed to update from IP15 to 18?
