Hi,

we are facing the slow inserts (payments) some times and those payments get timed out. when i look into the payment via oem , it shows wait on row cache locks cash# shows on dc_segments.he database has been in

The database has a minimal laod, the database has been live from few weeks.

2 others things i realized via ASH report is the insert do hard parse when it has row cache locks and also generate huge buffer gets...

same insert when runs fast has no such issue...

We have 10 CPU

25sga

16 cache size

4g shared pool size..

Note: the payments hit the database after every 15 to 20 minutes...
