Positive Turnover Records for Rehires

I have noticed that when rehiring an employee (deleting their termination date and changing their Date Started and Date Pay Starts data) that the F08045 - Employee Turnover Analysis table doesn't do a positive turnover record for the business unit and job code (if the employee is rehiring into the same business unit and job code as they were in when they terminated).  Is there a particular process I should be following in order for the turnover records to show positive?
