How to know the application name to use in IP17

Hi ,

Having hard time to understand the link with object manager and name to be used in URL for accessing a particular application.

For example

SWToolsObjMgr_enu is the object manager for Siebel Web Tools. Based on searching a article in the community it is found that

https://machinename:9001/siebel/app/webtools/enu

In earlier version there is no siebel/app . eapps used to have a name defined [portal] which is tied to a object manager.But in IP17 , I am trying to understand the link between url and the object manager.

Please guide me in this regards.
