Integration with XStore

I am new to XStore and I am trying to see what is the correct ways to integrate with XStore to get data for Big Data analysis.  What are the options to integrate Web Services, rest APIs, data export? Any documentation that you can recommend for an initial analysis? The customer is current on Oracle Retail Xstore and Xcenter 3.2.1 and upgrading to 16.0.2.
