JDE Transportation - maximum number of shipments selecting a route for the ship date

Is there any way to specify that only a specified number of shipments can select a route/carrier for the ship date.

Where the carrier can return and collect for subsequent deliveries, but for example, only collect 3 times for the same ship date.  Generally each delivery is for a single sales order, due to heavy weight and large volume items.  Many carriers are available, but each carrier can only transport for a specific number of times for the same day.

So the route/carrier can only be selected 3 times for the ship date.

Additional shipments for this same ship date need to be routed for different routes/carriers.
