Account mapping rules between primary and Secondary

Hi All

When we use account mapping rules between Primary Ledger and secondary Ledger then does the final accounted combination in Primary Ledger in XLA table taken to derive the corresponding Secondary Ledger mapping(based on mapping rules) OR the transaction distribution account is considered to convert from Primary to Secondary.

Please advise
