EBusiness Center - Tasks - Planned End date default

Hi,

In eBusiness Center, when we enter Tasks, with Date type as 'Planned', the End Date always defaults from Start Date.

The application does not allow us to change the end date even though it is an updatable field.

-     Is this a standard functionality ?

-     Can we give the User the ability to change the planned date as required?
