Asset Conversion

We have an issue with Asset conversion, we are implementing Oracle Fixed Assets and the assets to be converted provides us with the current asset value carried in the existing Fixed Asset System. The items themselves were written down over five years ago and we need to be able to load the original asset value into Oracle, the issue is that the asset value currently being depreciated against is not the original asset value.
