What's next after 12.2.1.4?

Now that 12.2.1.4 has dropped, was looking for some clarification on the blog article at .https://blogs.oracle.com/oda/the-two-software-stacks-of-oracle-database-appliance

- Is 12.2.1.4 the last release in the 12.2.1.x track?

- If 18.3.1.0 is the next release, will there be an upgrade, or will it require a full reimage to "migrate to ODACLI" and 18c support?

BTW, this question is in reference to software supported on the X4-2 & X5-2 ODA's.
