Empties Hierarchy with G46 Module

Hi All

a customer asks for the following requirement.

On Sales order entry (but also in Purchase Order Entry) the same item could have different UOM conversions depending on the supplier/customer.

For example Item A could be sold in BOXES (UOM BX) that contains 12 pieces if sold to customer 111, but if the same item is sold to customer 222 with same UOM (BX) the conversion changes to 14 pieces.

Are there any different choice to codify a specific UOM for the combination ITEM /CUSTOMER or to codify a specific Item for that kind of UOM(maybe with a specific preference or standard cross reference type)?
