DB user schema for system integrations with Oracle EBS

Good morning,

We are currently integrating SalesForce with Oracle EBS for catering to our call center needs. To complete this integration, we had created a custom DB user XXINTG and are using standard API's for customer and sales order creation. However, we keep running into missing privileges and had granted access to hundreds of DB objects with no luck. The same scripts are working fine using APPS DB user but we were told that using APPS for system integrations is not a recommended practice.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
