Detached Adjustment G/L Class

We were looking for a way to post our detached adjustment to a different account than the item revenue account.  In looking through Oracle on-line documents, I found document 625575.1  Detached Adjustment (Type 6 Adjustment) where it states in the Additional Notes section that "At Sales Update, if there is a G/L Offset specified in the detached adjustment definition (P4071), both the inventory and adjustment lines post to the account set up for this G/L Class in DMAAI 4230. If no G/L Offset is specified in the definition, then the G/L Class is taken from the item branch / location / lot for both the inventory and adjustment lines. It is not possible to direct the detached adjustment to post to the G/L Offset in P4071 and the sales line to post to the G/L Class in the item branch / location / lot
