'Select Equipment' in Lease creation

Hi,

Can anybody explain what does this 'Select Equipment' dropdown under Actions while creating leases does? We are not able to search any thing under any BU. I was hoping this field would help us map assets created in AM under lease.

Please let me know what it does and how can I work with it. Information on this part is not present in PeopleBooks.
