In Oracle R12 Project asset lines assigned with asset and not interfaced to FA are overwritten by ge

Users want to Park the cost in the CIP asset without capitalizing by assigning the asset lines to specific assets. But when the Generate asset lines is run next period the assigned asset lines are overwritten.

the Allocation method used is 'None' .
