Inventory Commitment for Firm Demand Sales order creation

We are creating sales orders for firm demands using the Schedule UBE R40R010. However, it seems the inventory commitment defined in P4210 version is not working. e.g. we expect the detailed sales order lines to be fulfilled from BranchPlant2 based on preference setups. It is not picking up BranchPlant2 when creating sales order through R40R010. However, when using the same P4210 version to create sales order manually, it works fine. Does the planning schedule ignore inventory commitments?
