How to Inquire Balances for parent accounts in the General Ledger without using Summary Templates

Hello,

We have a requirement of Inquiring balances for parent accounts without setting up summary templates. We set up summary templates but that is causing performance issues.

Oracle Support has said the recommended number of code combinations created by summary templates should not exceed 30% of the total code combinations.

However, this is not possible as the requirement is to have on screen inquiry for all parent accounts for which we set up summary templates.

Therefore, we want to check if there is any other way of Inquiring for parent accounts?
