Can Create Accounting Request be cancelled ? will it impact accounting

Hi,

User submitted lots of individual create accounting requests from Invoice Form. And are stuck in pending / Running Stage. Can these requests be cancelled. it is creating heavy load on server and due to this other important requests are stuck in pending

Please help Urgently.
