Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Fixed Assets - EBS (MOSC)

Cannot re-use Asset Tag Number in different asset books

We have 4 Asset Books that represent different physical units with their separate assets. We need a separate tag number sequence for each book.

However system doesn't allow tag number to repeat even if its in another asset book.

How to get around this issue?
