weblogic 10.3.6 pact that requires to upgrade the JDK

Hello 

We need to apply a patch  to  WEBLOGIC 10.3.6  (RUNNING ON WINDOWS  2008 R2), THE  JDK  USED  BY  WEBLOGIC( AVA_HOME) is    jdk1.7.0_75    the patch  requires  to upgrade our   JDK  from jdk1.7.0_75  to      JDK7u181; 

our  WEBLOGIC  SERVERS   are running   BI PUBLISHER  1.1.1.7.0, my  question  is as    follow

As part  of  the BI  Publisher  installation   there is  a  jdk located  under  folder   oracle-home/jdk  and the  version  is =   1.6.0_35

do I have  to  upgrade  this  JDK  too...?
