Defining User Preferences

Hi,

In below navigation :

Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions >User Preferences > Define User Preference

For specific User Id >Under Overall Preference ,there is option to set default Business Unit.

Questions:

  1. How the default Business Unit is tagged to users under Overall user preference page.(What will be source?)
  2. What will be the overall impact of removing the default Business Unit from the users in the same page.

Please suggest.
