Suppress Warning Message 3695 (Routing does not exist) on SO Entry

We currently do not use item-level routings and create W-line type sales orders.  Whenever a sales order is entered/modified, we get Warning message 3695 - Routing does not exist and would like to eliminate that message.

Have tried changing the message type to '3' (informational) with no luck.  Next step is to change the default on the TRT data dictionary element to default to ' ', but am a bit nervous about any other downstream effects.

Has anyone done anything similar?
