Tax Reserve Ledger Report shows Assets from Future Periods

Our user ran federal depreciation for YTD August 2017. However,Tax Reserve Ledger report includes not only the assets placed in service before 9/1/2017, but also includes all assets all the way to 7/31/2018. Do you know why and how can we run a report only include assets placed in service before 9/1/2017 for August 2017?
