Archive log is generating for MMON,CJQ0,LMS0,LMS1,MMON,CJQ0,LMS2

Hi Team,

In our system archive logs are generating (Block_changes) Happening on following oracle process.(checked using gv$session s, gv$sess_io i)

MMON,CJQ0,LMS0,LMS1,MMON,CJQ0,LMS2

Did above mentioned oracle process generate more archive logs(Block_changes). ????. If so is there any way/how to minimize the same.(generation of archive logs).

since now a days in our system generating more archive logs than usual. so some time due to more archive log system is going on Hung State.

Also would like to know how to clear manually archive logs when storage is on ASM file system.
