ASRU (Oracle ASM Space Reclamation Utility) interrupted during compaction phase & ASM disks seen wit

We have a question on ASM Space Reclamation Utility (Oracle ASRU) in Oracle 12c RAC cluster environment. We were excuting ASRU on a RAC server with DG mounted (but DBs shutdown to reduce IO activity & finish quicker). While ASRU was running, server was rebooted by an error by Unix team. ASRU was still running Compaction Phase. It did not complete Compaction phase. But all disks are now seen by ASM with reduced sizes. ie. ASRU resized them to smaller sizes. After reboot, we did not run ASRU due to time constraint. DG got mounted fine. All DBs also started
