Is hyper exit security possible on data selection for removing the advanced button

We are attempting to lock down data selection for certain users to allow them only to be able to change one facet of the data selection for a UBE.  The hyper exit security for removing the advanced option on the data selection screen looks promising but we have not yet been able to successfully complete such an action.  For instance, we would like to have the super user be able to lock the data selection via the advanced button while removing that exit for all other users via hyper exit security because we do not want the average user to
