Create SI Group - add assets failed to copy all assets

All;

  I am creating an SI Group.  My company has 1857 assets I need to COPY to the SI Group.  During the copy operation there was a server disconnect and only 1000 assets copied.  Now I cannot mark or otherwise add any of the remaining 857 assets to the SI group.   It appears I cannot start over, so I need help in copying the remaining assets to the SI Group.
