View XML Document in Fluid Approval

When using an iPad/iPod/iPhone to use PeopleSoft's Fluid Approvals in the Supplier Contracts module, we are not able to view the document. When you tap on the 'View Document' link, the document is downloaded as a Word XML file; however, we haven't found a way that will read that format. We downloaded the Microsoft Word app, but it is unable to open that format. We have downloaded other XML reader apps, but they do not open the document as a human readable document.
