Order of ARM Currency Conversion when using Entered, Functional and Reporting Buckets

Hello,

I am using version 11.1.2.4.251.  I am trying to understand/confirm how the currency conversion works when using all three buckets in ARM (entered, functional, and reporting).   Is the entered bucket always the driver of the conversion?  Example:  Entered bucket is in GBP, Functional bucket is in EUR, and Reporting bucket is in USD.  If I enter 1,000 GBP, GBP to EUR rate is 1.131 so that gives me  1,131 EUR, GBP to USD rate is 1.379 so that gives me 1,379 USD.

Or

Does the entered bucket drive the functional bucket and then the functional bucket drives the reporting bucket?   Using the same example as above.   If I enter 1,000 GBP, GBP to EUR rate is 1.131 so that gives me 1,131 EUR.   If I use the calculated EUR amount 1,131, EUR to USD rate is 1.220 so that gives me 1,379.82.
