Customize Revenue generation - Project Accounting

Hi, I have a requirement to customize revenue generation depending on the Billing Event type that is setup on the project.

I checked the Billing Extensions... All of them point to Billing Event creations. But, in my case, the Billing Event is already setup manually on the project. Revenue Generation concurrent program should pick the Billing Events for revenue based on a certain criteria. How can this be achieved? Thanks in advance.
