T4-4 Multiple FC ports enquiry

Hi,

I have one T4-4 with 2 x FC dual port fiber card (4Gb) ... total 4 FC ports (fc0, fc1, fc2, fc3).   SAN switch support 4Gb port.

What is the best practice for connect to SAN Storage?

Scenario #1

Connect fc0 and fc2 only.

Scenario #2

Connect fc0, fc1, fc2, fc3.

My question is ... what is the benefit of Scenario #2 ? is it will has more bandwidth (like DLMP aggregation) or it just has more redundancy?

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
