[siebel@bucrm OPatch]$ cd $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch

[siebel@bucrm OPatch]$ pwd

/opt/siebel/siebel/OPatch

[siebel@bucrm OPatch]$ ./opatch lsinventory

OPatch failed with error code 255

[siebel@bucrm OPatch]$

Checks :-

1. Insteed ORACLE_HOME\oui\jlib, ORACLE_HOME\jlib directory exists

2. ORACLE_HOME\jlib do not have srvm.jar

Others :-

OPatch Fails With Error Code 255 (Doc ID 1231223.1)

However this applies to:

Oracle Universal Installer - Version 1.0.0.0.50 to 12.1.0.2

-- But we have version 12.2.0.1.6.

Note : Post IP17 installation over IP16 this found during installation verification.
