Can Oracle iStore be used as a stand-alone ecommerce solution

Our Customer who uses a Third Party E-Business Solution, and they are interested to buikd an e-commerce solution on top of their custom EBS system.

In this context, can we implement Oracle iStore as a stand-alone e-commerce solution which will interact with this custom system?

In a more generic sense, can Oracle iStore be feasibly considered as an e-commerce solution, in an-environment which does not not already have Oracle EBS implemented? E.g. for a customer on JDE, is it feasible to consider implementing Oracle iStore as the e-commerce solution? Is there any documentation in this regard?

If not, what other Oracle products are there which will be a feasible e-commerce platform?
