R12.2.7 : SLA post upgrade historical data

in General Ledger - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hello,

We are upgrading our EBS from 11i to R12.2.7.   During upgrade , we are going with default SLA upgrade  and decided to rest of the periods after upgrade.    Now , we are trying to decided on which option to chose for SLA historical data upgrade

1)  hot patch -

R12 FAQ for the SLA Upgrade: SLA Pre-Upgrade, Post-Upgrade, and Hot Patch (Doc ID 604893.1)

2) concurrent program  -SLA: Upgrade Historical Subledger Transaction Accounting Program (XLAONDEUPG) (Doc ID 1376752.1)

Once , we choose concurrent program , we cannot go back to hot patch method.      What are the pro's and con's of both the methods.     Which one is better ?
