aferror.log grows more than 2 gb

HI Experts,

we are having EBS 12.2.4 with db version 11.2.0.3 and aferror.log increase more than 2 GB due to this i am not able to to complete the clone its gives error java heap size

My question is can i remove this file as i am already see that there is no profile is enabled for creating the logs
