ufsrestore issue

edited Sep 10, 2018 5:00AM in Oracle Solaris System Administration (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

I am trying to create ufsdump files for various systems on an NFS file system.  While ufsdump completes successfully, whenever I try to run ufsrestore [ufsrestore tf /backups/nfs1/nfs1.var.Aug.29.2018 ; for example], it returns the following "cannot stat .:  Value too large for defined data type"  How do I resolve this?  Servers are running Solaris 10 and the ufsdump command I am running is:  ufsdump 0uf /backups/nfs1/nfs1.var.MMM.DD.YYYY /dev/md/rdsk/d6  [although var and the md defined varies from system to system]

Howdy, Stranger!
