How to change/add Task Views in Favorites

Over time, our task view has become very disorganized.  I have added a new TV using both new and pre-existing tasks and folders.  Users have made extensive use of favorites under the old TV.  We plan on removing access to the old TV and possibly removing it entirely.  I am assuming the favorites pointing to the old TV will break as soon as we remove it and possibly as soon as we remove access.  How can we save the favorites and point them to the new TV?
