How does lots Number can be assigned while completing WO

Hi Folks,

How does lots Number can be assigned while completing WO? What are the different option to assign Lot number and what setup are required.

in some discussion I read there is one PO in Work order completion P31114 except selecting that PO what else setup required either it is item level, item branch level etc.
